Vista Really slow, what could be a problem !
However, after rebooting, it looks like it's still really slow, and the cursor stays in the guest window, so I think that the "VistaBeta2Additions.msi" isn't working. Can anyone tell me how I can get Vista working with VM Additions so that it runs at "normal" speed? Thanks, Jim.

I've noticed on computers that I've used, when you only have around 15% of your RAM free, it gets really slow and the hard drive starts working like crazy, but when I add more RAM, it runs faster. If adding RAM made *your* computer run faster, then the apps you were running were able to make use of more RAM.

Unlike Vista, you can't turn off lots of stuff to make it faster. That is funny, since my wifes eMac G4 has only 512Mb and now runs Leopard better than Tiger. :D That's interesting. But Tiger didn't like 512 MB much either. [snip] What I have read is that it is quite slow on that configuration.
